PROJECT 1 : Programming

On the first crit, I have to propose 3 ideas with the precedent studies and proposals. From these 3 proposals, the lecture chose the best proposal and proceed it to do the project 1 which (programming) and the final project (design space)

The lecturer chose BATIK as the main concept for the projects

For the programming I want to create poster to describe the visual of the programming and isometric for the machines for detailing

FINAL BOARD

From this project, I learned that I can make illustration because this is the first time I make digital illustration. I do sketches manually and I trace the sketches on digital.

FINAL PROJECT

The final project is applying the concept from the programming to the space. The Building is located at Tamarind Square, Cyberjaya, Malaysia.

I build up the building first with sketchup based on the plan and section given

After looking with the plan and section, I try to make it on sketchup for the pathway but it looks not great for the reception because can't see what is inside because it is covered by the upper floor

Because the previous one didn't work out, I make the silk machine and exploring with different shapes

CRIT 1

In crit 1 I still exploring the floor plan and section

After crit 1, I focused more on the shape of the machine first and later on I can determine the plan based on the machinery

I explore with machine making for weeks

Isometric

After crit 2, I feel like the design is not working so well, I feel that the machine is too big so the space feel very tight. Each of the machine also have different design language that were not align together so I manage to do big changes to my design.
